Sitters Unlimited Orange County babysitter

Babysitters, Nannies, Pet-Sitters, Adult Companions, Vacation Home Care

Sitters Unlimited was founded by an educator in 1979 and has been providing families with babysitters,  nannies, pet-sitters, adult companion care, and vacation home care ever since.

We reach out to faith-based organizations, nursing schools, colleges, teacher organizations … to look for the best of the best. We look for individuals who not only have extensive experience caring for children, pets, and/or seniors and challenged adults but we place a high value on caregivers who are also serving their communities in a variety of ways. For instance many of our babysitters do volunteer work in shelters and/or schools for challenged children; our pet sitters often have rescue pets and/or work in various facets of the pet care industry; our adult caregivers often have experience caring for a loved one and carry that into their work with seniors and other challenged adults.

Our caregivers are professionals, teachers, writers, artists, students … who joyfully provide responsible care for your loved ones. All of our caregivers are CPR certified in infant/ pediatrics, have undergone an extensive background check including but not limited to a criminal background check, and have extensive prior experience. They truly enjoy their work with children, pets and adults.

I am so privileged to have this opportunity to work with children through Sitters Unlimited. I have been babysitting for close to 6 years now outside the agency. I really have a passion for working with children. I have spent a lot of time volunteering with the county school for homeless and disadvantaged children which has even given me a greater desire to work with kids of all age groups and backgrounds to really help them learn and grow in all settings.
I grew up actively involved in taking care of my now, 13 year old sister as well as my cousins ranging from 3 months to 14 years old. I am very caring, loving, supportive, hard working, patient, and consistent.  I hope to get to meet you and your children soon!

I encourage healthy alternative snacks and keep kids active through hands-on interaction, various games and activities. Dynamic, super friendly, compassionate, and patient, while remaining consistent with the parents rules are just a few of my traits. Nurturing by nature with a love for all ages.
Favorite babysitting activities include: outside play time, craft time, and reading with children. I adhere to any specific care requested by the parents and provide recap notes. I’m looking forward to enriching the lives of your loved ones!

I was born in Argentina, and came to the U.S. with my family in 1965. After accepting early retirement from the University of Irvine, I decided to work as a babysitter/nanny since I love children. I am an “auntie” type of sitter; very warm, playful, and caring. While working with Sitters Unlimited, I’ve had the pleasure of watching children of all ages. I hope to meet your family someday.

I worked as a teachers assistant for a class of 2nd graders for a year. I worked for Sitters Unlimited in San Diego for a year before moving to Orange County and working with the OC Sitters Unlimited. I also babysit for my family and friends.

I’m a senior at CSULB working on my marketing degree. I have worked with children of all ages and have also tutored for a number of years. I really love being around children because I believe that children can teach all of us how to bring fun back into our lives. I grew up in San Francisco and moved to Long Beach 3 years ago for school. I have a 4 year old brother who is my whole heart. My favorite thing to do on my free time is anything related to music and art.

I am working toward my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I have experience with children of all ages from newborns to teens. I started babysitting at the age of 12. My first experience was my niece who I began watching when she was two weeks old and today she is a happy and creative seven year old. Watching her grow up and change from year to year is wonderful. Also I now have a daughter of my own who is now 9 months old. She is the best experience I could have ever asked for. I enjoy children and watching them grow and learn new things.
I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, overnights, pet sitting, weekends, and conventions.

I was an L.A.P.D. 911 dispatcher, so yes I can multi-task. I have no college degree, but you

I enjoy working with kids of all ages and love to babysit my 2 year old nephew and friend’s kids. The simplicity of being around children keeps me grounded and helps me to remember the simple pleasures in life and not to sweat the small stuff. I am lucky to be able to say that I absolutely love doing what I do.
I have babysat children of all ages ranging from 2 weeks to 14 years old. I am also infant/child CPR certified.
Tracey
I began working with Sitters Unlimited in October 2005, after I was so happy with the care my own young son had received from their sitters. Prior to this, I had been a full-time elementary school teacher for 15 years with experience at all
grade-levels. I taught all elementary subject areas and have an M.A. in Education. Additionally, I have worked in child care, both privately and for a pre-school. I also worked after-hours for many years as an after-school caregiver and tutor. I am currently not teaching full-time so that I can be home with my own child. I consider myself to be patient, nuturing, and above all else, responsible. When I take care of children I always have my own child in mind and I want to provide the same level of care that I would want for him. Teaching gave me a lot of experience with children, but becoming a mother changed my whole perspective and relationship with them. I really enjoy the time I spend babysitting because I find caregiving to be very fulfilling and because I love children.
Angela
I have experience with babysitting, elderly care, and pet care. I’ve been babysitting through Sitters Unlimited for about a year now, and have been truly blessed with this job, however, I have
been babysitting outside the agency for nearly ten years. I’ve babysat children of all ages from infancy to pre-teen. Additionally, I have had experience volunteering at Health Bridge Children’s Hospital with special needs children. I was able to go in and give various children TLC and be not only a helper to them, but a friend. I have worked with many different children throughout my life, and have encountered many children going through difficult times, resulting in behavioral problems. I have found that love and patience is essential in caring for all children, but particularly children going through challenging times. For instance, I have cared for a family with five children: two 10-month old (twins), two young boys, and a 6-year old girl. All five children had been living at Orangewood Children’s Home for a while, which inevitably produced five insecure children exhibiting multiple behaviors, requiring creative and wise responses. There are numerous other stories, and in all of them, I have progressively become more and more compassionate and understanding in how to care for each child.
I have also volunteered at nursing homes where I have cared for elderly patients. My grandma has lived with us for months at a time and I have had the priviledge to be there for her and help her in whatever way I can. I have had a lifetime of amazing experiences in caring for pets. I grew up with puppies, rabbits, birds, hamsters, lizards, fish, kittens, turtles, and the list goes on. Pets are a huge part of my life. I currently have a 10-year old Golden Retriever who I consider my baby. I worked at a pet shop where I did everything needed to keep the store running smoothly. I also interned at Newport Mesa Animal Hospital.
Whether babsitting, caring for elderly, animals, or even just housesitting, I love it all!
